Terms for Experts
Version of 11.10.2026
1. Scope
These Terms govern the relationship between BezKordoniv OÜ (details on the Operator page) and experts who offer consultations through the Bez Kordoniv platform (the “Platform”). For experts they are terms and conditions within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 on fairness and transparency for business users of online intermediation services. Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Registration and moderation
- Register as an expert, confirm your e-mail and fill in your profile: speciality, description, experience, languages, services with prices and duration, and optionally certificates.
- Every application is moderated: we check that the information is complete and plausible and that it complies with these Terms. For regulated professions (e.g. law, medicine, psychology) we may ask for proof of qualification.
- Once approved, your profile appears in the catalogue. If an application is rejected, we tell you the reason; you can challenge the decision through the complaint system (section 9).
3. Your status and obligations
- You are the seller of your services and conclude the consultation contract with the client in your own name.
- You state whether you act as a trader; this determines whether consumer rights apply to the contract.
- You are responsible for the quality of your consultations, the accuracy of your profile, holding any required licences and permits, and paying your taxes.
- You process the information a client shares with you during a consultation as an independent data controller and comply with the GDPR and professional secrecy.
- We may request information required by law, in particular tax information for digital platform reporting (Directive DAC7).
4. Prices and commission
- You set your consultation prices; clients see them in your profile in euro.
- The Platform retains a commission on every paid booking. The platform commission is shown to the expert when connecting. We announce any change to the commission at least 15 days in advance.
- Stripe’s payment processing fees are charged to your Stripe account under Stripe’s terms.
- In your dashboard you see the amount of each payment, the commission retained and the net amount.
5. Payments and payouts (Stripe Connect)
- To accept payments, connect your own Stripe account under “Payout methods” in your dashboard. Identity and bank verification is performed by Stripe; the account is subject to the Stripe agreements you accept when connecting (stripe.com/legal).
- You can publish free time slots once the connection is complete.
- The client’s payment is credited to your Stripe account and the Platform commission is deducted automatically. The Platform does not hold your funds.
- Payouts to your bank account are made by Stripe on its schedule.
- Refunds to clients under the cancellation rules are made from your Stripe account. Payment disputes (chargebacks) are handled under Stripe’s rules.
- Stripe is available to experts in the countries Stripe supports.
6. Ranking in the catalogue
The main parameters that determine the order in which profiles are shown (Article 5 of Regulation 2019/1150):
- By default the catalogue is sorted by average review rating; profiles without reviews are shown after rated profiles.
- Clients can change the order: by price (lowest or highest first), by experience (years of practice) or by relevance to their search query — that is, how well the query matches the profile text, specialities and services.
- Filters (field, speciality, country, language, price, rating, age) only narrow the selection and do not change the order.
- The “Top experts” block on the home page first shows profiles marked “recommended” by the Platform team, then sorts by the number of consultations held.
- There is currently no paid promotion; catalogue positions and marks are not for sale. If this changes, we will update these Terms in advance.
7. Reviews
Only a client with a completed consultation can leave a review — one per booking. The rating is the average score. You cannot edit or delete reviews, but you can complain about a review that breaks the rules through the complaint system.
8. Restriction, suspension and termination
- We may restrict the visibility of your profile, suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or the law, provide false information, or receive justified client complaints.
- We notify you of a restriction or suspension by e-mail, with reasons, no later than when it takes effect.
- We give at least 30 days’ notice, with reasons, before terminating our services entirely — except where the law requires immediate action or in case of repeated or serious breaches.
- You can challenge a decision through the complaint system (section 9).
- You can end the relationship at any time by deleting your account; bookings already confirmed must be held or cancelled under the rules.
9. Internal complaint system and mediation
- Send complaints about moderation, restrictions, ranking, reviews, technical problems or other actions of the Platform to [email protected] with the subject “Expert complaint”.
- We handle complaints free of charge, confirm receipt and reply on the merits, as a rule within 14 days.
- If a complaint cannot be resolved, we are willing to attempt out-of-court settlement in good faith with a mediator agreed with you.
10. Changes to these Terms
We notify you of changes to these Terms by e-mail at least 15 days before they take effect. If you do not agree, you may end the relationship before that date.
11. Test mode
The Platform currently runs in test mode: payments are test payments and no real payouts are made.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes are heard by the court of the seat of BezKordoniv OÜ (Harju Maakohus, Tallinn), unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
